HOMEC+ Terms & EULA

SUMMARY

HOMEC+ ("we," "us," or "our") is owned and operated by Rhythmcs, LLC of Richmond, IN. By downloading or using HOMEC+, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's App Store terms. HOMEC+ offers a one-time purchase for collaborative home-economics management. Your data stays local on-device or, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account via CloudKit. Home owners can invite home members using share links, and every home member can edit shared Home data—invite only trusted users. If you opt into AI features, they use Apple Foundation Models and are subject to Apple's terms for those services. See Apple's App Store Terms, iCloud Terms. AI is optional and disabled by default.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HOMEC+, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's App Store terms of service. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.

2. Eligibility

HOMEC+ is available to users of all ages. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app. Apple may impose its own requirements for Apple IDs and App Store use.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Rhythmcs, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use one (1) copy of HOMEC+ on a single Apple-branded device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. License Restrictions

You agree not to, and will not permit others to, directly or indirectly:

  1. Copy or Distribute Reproduce, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, loan, or otherwise transfer the app, in whole or in part.
  2. Modify or Derivative Works Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the app or any component thereof.
  3. Reverse Engineer Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, or otherwise attempt to derive or gain access to the source code.
  4. Remove Notices Remove or alter any trademark, logo, or proprietary notices embedded in the app.
  5. Circumvent Security Bypass or disable any security or technological measures in the app.

5. Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the app—including all intellectual property rights—remain with Rhythmcs, LLC and its licensors. This license does not grant you any rights to Rhythmcs's trademarks, service marks, or logos.

6. Updates and Upgrades

We may from time to time provide updates, upgrades, bug fixes, patches, or new versions of the app ("Updates"). Unless we expressly provide a separate license, these Terms govern all Updates.

7. One-Time Purchase and Payments

Purchases are managed exclusively through Apple's App Store.

  • Billing & Refunds: All billing inquiries and refunds are handled per Apple's standard policies.
  • Family Sharing: When Apple permits Family Sharing for one-time purchases, eligible family members can access HOMEC+ using their Apple Accounts.

8. User Accounts

HOMEC+ does not create or store server-side user accounts. You may choose an optional display name that is stored locally on your device (and in iCloud if you enable sync). Purchase access is managed through your Apple ID and the App Store.

9. Collaborative Homes & Home Members

  • Ownership & Access: The creator of a Home is its "Owner." Owners invite home members via unique share links—no public directory exists.
  • Data Sharing & Edit Access: Any home member you invite can view and edit that Home's data (name, optional address, bills, payments). There is no viewer-only role. Owners can remove home members at any time.

10. AI Features

  • Optional Use: AI-powered insights are disabled by default and do not run unless you explicitly opt in.
  • Apple Foundation Models: AI processing uses Apple Foundation Models and is primarily on-device. Depending on your device and request, it may leverage Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which is governed by Apple's terms and policies.
  • Session-Only Processing: AI processing is not stored beyond the active session by us.
  • Privacy: We do not log AI interactions, nor do we share IP addresses, device IDs, or location data with third-party AI services.

11. Privacy and Data Hosting

HOMEC+ uses Apple products and services exclusively for data hosting. Your data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud sync, in which case it is stored in your personal iCloud account via CloudKit. We do not operate servers that store your content. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

HOMEC+ is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rhythmcs, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

14. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. We may terminate it automatically and without notice if you fail to comply with any term herein. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the app and destroy all copies in your possession.

15. Survival

Sections governing Ownership, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and accrued payment obligations survive termination.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted at https://www.homec.app/homecplus/terms with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Wayne County, Indiana.
