HOMEC+ Privacy Policy

SUMMARY
WE OPERATE ZERO SERVERS.
HOMEC+ collects nothing. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud sync, which stores your data in your personal iCloud account via CloudKit. We do not access or see your data. If you share a Home with home members, Apple’s policies govern that shared iCloud data. If you opt into AI features, Apple Foundation Models handle processing and Apple’s terms apply (including Private Cloud Compute where available). See Apple’s iCloud Terms.
1. Our Zero-Data Approach
HOMEC+ is designed with absolute privacy as its foundation. We operate zero servers, which means:
- All your data is stored locally on your device by default
- We have no ability to access, view, or collect your information
- We do not track your usage, behavior, or interactions with the app
- We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or other tracking technologies
- We do not run server-side accounts or identifiers for you
The only information "collected" about you is what Apple collects as part of the App Store purchase process, which is handled entirely by Apple and not shared with us beyond basic aggregated sales information.
2. Optional Permissions
HOMEC+ may request the following optional permissions, which you can decline without affecting core functionality:
- Notifications: If you opt in to notifications, these are processed entirely on your device. We do not use push notifications that would require server infrastructure.
3. iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you choose to use iCloud sync:
- Your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account via CloudKit
- This sync is fully administered by Apple, not by us
- We have no access to your iCloud data
- This feature is completely optional and can be disabled at any time
If you share a Home with home members, Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit policies govern that shared data and access controls.
4. What Data Is Stored
The following data is stored locally on your device (and in iCloud if you enable sync):
- Display name (optional)
- Home information (names, optional addresses, notes, etc.) that you enter
- Bill details and payment history that you enter
- App preferences and settings
- Any other information you choose to enter into the app
Important: All of this information remains on your device or in your iCloud account. It is not transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
HOMEC+ does not integrate with any third-party services except:
- Apple's iCloud/CloudKit for optional sync (administered by Apple) — iCloud Terms
- Apple's App Store for one-time purchase billing (administered by Apple) — App Store Terms
- Apple Foundation Models for optional AI features (administered by Apple)
We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or other tracking technologies.
6. Optional AI Features
HOMEC+ AI features are optional and disabled by default. AI processing uses Apple Foundation Models and is primarily on-device. Depending on your device and request, it may leverage Apple’s Private Cloud Compute and is subject to Apple’s terms and policies. We do not receive or store your AI prompts or outputs.
7. Children's Privacy
HOMEC+ is available to users of all ages. We do not collect any information from anyone, including children, and we do not age-gate the app because we do not collect or access user data.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
