
HOMEC+ Privacy Policy

SUMMARY
HOMEC+ ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Rhythmcs, LLC of Richmond, IN, and available only in the United States. We collect account, home, bill, payment, AI-interaction, and (opt-in) device-token data, all hosted on U.S.-based Google Firestore servers. AI features are off by default and prompts/responses are session-only—never stored. Any collaborator you invite may enable AI on your home's data, so invite only trusted users. Users can delete any data in-app at any time and may contact legal@rhythmcs.com for assistance.
1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Rhythmcs, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information through the HOMEC+ mobile application, available only in the United States.
We do not permit users under age 13 to register; if we learn a user is under 13, COPPA's notice and parental-consent requirements would apply—but we block sign-ups at the outset.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Full Name: User-provided; may be a pseudonym.
- Date of Birth: To enforce age restrictions (13+).
- Email Address: For registration, authentication, and account notifications.
2.2 Home Information
- Home Name: Custom label chosen by the owner.
- Address: Optional; only collected if the user opts in.
2.3 Bill & Payment Information
- Bills: Name and amount (optional additional details).
- Payments: Amount, date, and payer identity.
2.4 AI Interaction Data
- Optional by Design: AI features are off by default; you must explicitly enable them each session.
- Session-Only Processing: Prompts and responses are processed by Google Gemini but never stored beyond the active session.
- Shared-Home Warning: Any collaborator you invite may choose to use that home's data with AI. To keep your data out of AI models, only invite users you trust.
2.5 Device Information
- Push-notification Tokens: Collected only if you opt in, to deliver notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- No IPs or Device IDs: We do not collect IP addresses, GPS/location data, or other device identifiers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Account Management: Authenticate and secure your account.
- Core Features: Provide, maintain, and improve collaborative home-management tools.
- AI Insights: Offer AI-assisted suggestions only after you enable AI each session; collaborators you've added can likewise enable AI on shared data.
- Subscription Notifications: Manage billing via Apple App Store's standard subscription framework.
- Push Alerts: Send reminders and notifications if you opt into push messaging.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal data to marketers. Data processing partners include:
- Google Firestore: Hosting and real-time database on U.S. servers
- Google Gemini: AI processing on a session-only basis
- Apple App Store: Subscription billing under Apple's terms
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
HOMEC+ is not directed to children under 13. We block registrations for users who declare they are under 13, and we do not knowingly collect from them.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- User Control: You can delete any data—accounts, homes, bills, payments, and AI sessions—directly within the app at any time.
- AI Sessions: Not stored after the session ends.

7. Security Measures
We follow "privacy by design," limiting data collection to what's necessary, encrypting data in transit (TLS) and at rest, and restricting access to authorized personnel only.
8. User Rights and Controls
- Access & Correction: View and update your information in-app.
- Deletion: Remove your account or specific data entries at any time.
- Collaborator Management: Inviting someone grants full view and AI-use rights; revoke access instantly to block further AI or non-AI access.
9. Policy Updates and Contact
Rhythmcs, LLC of Richmond, IN is the data controller. We may update this Privacy Policy, posted at https://www.homec.app/privacy; significant changes may also be communicated in-app if urgent.
